The Student Council would like to welcome you to Loreto Sixth Form College. You have chosen a great place to study after high school!

 

What are the best things about Loreto:

 

Definitely the new building – Ellis and Kennedy – check it out! Cafeteria and shop, a great place to chill. It also has a theatre, dance studios, music and music technology, 3D workshop and photography rooms. The library is on the top floor with fantastic views of the city. We also have banks of pc’s and Mac’s to drop in and use whenever we want.

 

The trips. Students have been with Geography to Sicily, with Classical Civilisation to Greece, with Art to New York, Sociology and History both tour America, Biology has been to Honduras and Egypt, Physics to Paris, Travel and Tourism to Holland, ICT to Belgium, we could go on…. We also get to go to France skiing and on gap year visits to India, Australia, Peru and Kenya. The world is at your feet at Loreto!

 

The bursary schemes. Many students are awarded one of the several bursaries that the college organises. This will really help them get a lot of the stuff they need for university.

 

We don’t need to mention the teaching, the staff and results, all of which are excellent. You’ll know all about that already.
