Drama & Theatre Studies is for students seeking the opportunity to study all aspects of the stage, from acting to set and costume design. A-level students will study a range of plays and theatre practitioners applying various rehearsal methodologies and performance techniques to their studies. Students will have many opportunities to watch professional theatre and create critical analysis of the work seen. This knowledge of theatre making will be applied to the creation of devised drama and the exploration of textual extracts from published plays.
