We were treated to a glorious late summer’s day campus setting for Loreto’s annual Freshers’ Fair, where our students were given the opportunity to see the full variety of activities, groups and enrichment activities the College has on offer. There were representatives from sports clubs such as netball and badminton, with History, Psychology and Sociology clubs speaking up for the academic societies. For the more adventurous, The Duke of Edinburgh Award reps were in attendance, outlining the challenges that lay ahead for the interested student. There were also plenty of information on the diverse student support available, whether they were a potential Medic student, or just wanted general careers advice or those seeking something more spiritual from our College Chaplaincy.
While the students enjoyed the freebies and complimentary snacks and drinks, the atmosphere was enhanced further by a variety of musical performances given by some of our very talented students.
Part of the Loreto ethos is to help foster the development of the whole person and the wide variety of enrichments on display gives our students a wealth of incredible opportunities to do just that!
