This week has seen a great turn out of Loreto students take to the streets in an effort to keep our local area clean.
On Wednesday the group gathered to get their kit on before dispersing into groups to tackle the litter on local streets. The event was organised by the Loreto Environment Group and was a huge success. It is hoped it will encourage students and members of the public alike to take care of their local area.
Manchester City Council donated all of the equipment as part of their Clean City project and the event comes as the latest in a series of collaborations between Loreto and the local community.
The Loreto Environment Group hopes to make the litter picks a regular event across the year.
