EIGHT LORETO STUDENTS recently attended their Gold Duke of Edinburgh Presentation at Buckingham Palace in London. Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge was there himself on hand to present the Awards, discussing the expeditions and residential sections with a number of Loreto students. The Duke of Cambridge was on fine form, with plenty of funny anecdotes and expressing his interest in getting young adults off their phones and enjoying the great outdoors! Comedian Jon Culshaw entertained the students with his impersonations of well known politicians and celebrities, making the day a memorable experience for all.

 

Loreto was particularly praised for the provision of DofE and the excellent success rate of students completing both their Silver and Gold Awards.
