Loreto student Zainab Ahmed got more than she bargained for on results day this year. She was collecting her results for her BTEC Sport and A Levels when one of her footballing heroes, Ryan Giggs walked in to greet her with a special invitation to a VIP launch as a student representative for UA92. Zainab said
“I can’t believe it’s you. I’m gonna cry” when she was stood face to face with Giggs.
The Class of ’92, founders of the new University Academy, like us, have been impressed by her and think she will be a good role model for other future students.
A keen footballer, Zainab has been developing her coaching skills and this caught the eye of the newly established University Academy where she will be embarking on the next part of her educational journey.
