CAD stands for computer-aided design and is a way to digitally create 2D drawings and 3D models of real-world products before they’re ever manufactured. The enrichment is for anyone who wants to be creative, draw and design objects and turn them into 2D and 3D outcomes.
About CAD Club
In CAD Club, you will spend an hour a week learning how to use the computer aided design package AutoCAD which is widely used in industry. Your designs will then be transformed into 3D objects by using a laser cutter and a 3D printer. No previous design experience is required, just come along and learn a new skill.
Where & When?
The CAD club meets weekly in the specialist 3D Design workshop and classroom spaces
