Loreto students were recently invited to attend an event at the Iraqi Embassy. Our students interacted with Embassy staff and external Consular and Diplomatic members learning about the inner working of the institution, roles and responsibilities and how the Diplomatic community work together. Our students were able to ask insightful questions to the staff who were impressed with their knowledge, curiosity and professionalism.
One Loreto student, Azaria Mali said “I came away from the event so inspired, I met people who are doing my dream job in Diplomacy, International Relations and Politics. It was sick!”
As well as gaining insights of the working day, the students and staff were able to sample Iraqi cuisine. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and a wonderful opportunity for our students.
