This year our Loreto Women’s Basketball Team competed in the AoC Regional Tournament, which was held at the University of Central Lancashire. The squad had a mixture of Upper Sixth that had experience from last year’s competition, and Lower Sixth who showed talent in the basketball enrichments. After a highly competitive tournament, Loreto won two out of four games, with one gut wrenching loss against Trafford College, which went into overtime. All players worked extremely hard and showed great sportsmanship. Congratulations to all involved and special mention to Maiya and NeNe for outstanding play.
