Another emphatic victory was celebrated   by Loreto Men’s 2nd Football team with a 4-2   win against Sir John Deane’s team. Loreto   stay at the top of the league. There was   a great opening to start to the game with great link up play all the way through the thirds, really applying pressure to the opposition. Peter George illustrated what training was about by taking a chance with a long range shot from outside the box to put the side ahead.  Sir John Deane’s equalised, but Loreto continued to show perseverance and determination with Alex Mutyambizi running down the line and cutting it back for Stephen to slot it in the back of the net. This was shortly followed by another goal from Stephen to put the side clear and putting the team another step closer to securing the league   win. However,  late   on in the game,   Sir John put the pressure back on Loreto by scoring a second goal.  Any doubt of   a   win   was eliminated with Shaquille’s penalty rebound to end the game 4-2. Man of the match goes to full back Kieran.
